Minhe Guangda Carbon Co., Ltd. was founded in 1985. In 2009, it was relocated, expanded and upgraded from the former Lanzhou Guangming Carbon Co., Ltd. and was put into operation on July 1, 2012. With a total investment of 100 million RMB, covers an area of 40,000 square meters, and is located in Xiachuankou Industrial Park, Minhe County, Haidong, Qinghai Province.

Minhe Guangda Carbon Co., Ltd. is a specialized carbon enterprise mainly engaged in the production, research, development, and sales of electrode paste (with an annual production capacity of 110,000 tons), large-sized carbon/graphite electrodes for submerged arc furnaces (with an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons), and graphite crucibles and box plates for purifying anode materials of new energy batteries (with an annual production capacity of 50,000 sets), supplemented by the manufacturing and processing of other products (such as carbon blocks, carbon rods, and small graphite components, etc.). The products are widely used in electric furnace smelting in industries such as metallurgy, calcium carbide, industrial silicon, and steel. The company has passed the ISO QMS & SPS certification. It is a member of the China Carbon Industry Association, the Gansu Ferroalloy Association and the Qinghai International Taxation Research Association.
