The 4th Member and Re-election Conference of Gansu Ferroalloy Association was held in Lanzhou

On November 28, the 4th Member and Re-election Conference of Gansu Ferroalloy Association was held in Lanzhou Wyndham Hotel. More than 70 representatives of member companies from ferroalloy, calcium carbide, silicon carbide, metal silicon and other industries in Gansu Province attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Shi Zhengqing, the representative of the chairman unit of the 3rd council and general manager of Dragon Northwest Ferroalloy Co..

Mr. Wang Jianmin, chairman of the 3rd council, made a work report of the council entitled "Strengthening coordination, improving services, and leading the industry to a high-quality, high-efficiency and sustainable development path", comprehensively summarizing the work done by the 3rd council of the association in all aspects, analyzing the current situation and challenges of the industry, and making arrangements for the association`s work in the next stage. Mr. Yin Shuanhong, secretary-general of the 3rd council, made a report on the financial income and expenditure, and explained the revision of the "Gansu Ferroalloy Association Charter" and the "Membership Fees and Financial Management Measures". Mr. Wang Youbin, executive vice president of the 3rd council, read out and voted on the election method of the council, the amendment to the constitution and the voting method of the financial management system. All the representatives at the meeting voted on the "Amendment to the Constitution of Gansu Ferroalloy Association" and the "Financial Management System" by secret ballot, and both votes were passed unanimously.

All representatives elected the members of the 4th council of the association by secret ballot. At the first plenary meeting of the 4th council held subsequently, the president, vice president and secretary general of the 4th council of the association were elected. Mr. Shi Zhengqing read out the "Decision on the Appointment of Honorary President, Honorary Vice President and Deputy Secretary General".

The new president Mr. Wang Jianmin delivered an inaugural speech, requiring all members to gather consensus and work together to actively adapt to changes in market demand, adjust structure, improve quality, promote transformation, accelerate the formation of new quality productivity, continuously improve risk resistance and market competitiveness, and further create a new atmosphere and situation for the transformation and high-quality development of Gansu`s ferroalloy industry. At the same time, it is required that the association`s board of directors should continue to serve its members wholeheartedly, give full play to the association`s role as a bridge between the government and enterprises, carry out in-depth learning and exchanges, coordinate and provide services with all efforts, promote the high-quality and sustainable development of ferroalloys, calcium carbide, silicon carbide, metallic silicon and other industries in Gansu Province in the new era, and make new contributions to the realization of "strong industry" and "strong provincial capital"!
